Healing Sexual Violence

A Training for Women

5-6 October 2019

In this course, we’ll explore what constitutes sexual violence according to UK law. There’s no one way to respond to sexual violence and no set timeline for recovery. It’s individual. In this training, we’ll look at healing sexual violence from a yogic perspective. We’ll work with Kundalini Yoga as a complimentary medicine to heal through compassion and understanding.

Led by Simranjeet Kaur, this course is delivered as an intensive immersion into the science of Kundalini Yoga. You’ll learn to unlock the body’s amazing capacity to self-heal, especially by cultivating a state of shuniya, a state of profound silence where healing takes place.

Who can take this course? This course is designed for

  • Any woman healing or in need of healing from any sort of sexual assault

  • Yogi Teachers from all traditions

Message from Simranjeet Kaur

Simranjeet-trauma-recovery-london-kundalini.jpg

During my 30 year career as a London Police Detective Inspector, I was exposed to sexual violence, domestic abuse crimes, murder. This repeated exposure to humankind in its rawest form was highly stressful and resulted in acute trauma for me as well as burnout.

It was the love of the spirit within that took me through that work, it's my love of Kundalini Yoga and the profound healing I found through my own practice that allows me now to experience harmony in the world.

If you would like to learn how I did this then experience the tools of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan and come to this workshop and immersion. I will introduce you to the course I have written about trauma which has been accredited by the CMA, a non-profit organisation which supports and promotes complementary healthcare.

The full weekend course grants 7.5 CEUS with KYTA.
